I Think a Bomb Went Off in Here.......

Good God. So *this* is what happens to your studio when you have a newborn baby in the house! It all goes to pot! I used to have a meticulous workspace, full of open areas on my desk to set beads and tools down. It was a relaxing, creative space. Now look what's happened to it! Stuff everywhere. And how do you like the baby bottle on the desk? I must have set that down as I was passing through. I tell ya...it's going to be a while before this office resembles its former self. It's a good thing James is as cute as he is!
Have I Really Been Away This Long?

I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaack! It wasn't until my friend Kathy called a little while ago, and mentioned my blog, that I realized that (!) I hadn't updated it in a long time. Actually, eleven months. I had pretty much forgotten all about it; a lot has happened in my little family in the last eleven months. The biggest event, of course, is the birth of my son, James Wyatt.
He arrived on August 17th and weighed in at 7 pounds, 14 ounces. 20.5 inches long. A very sweet little baby who rarely cries and sleeps pretty well. Which is good because the other two children who take up residence here run me ragged. And I mean that in the nicest possible way. :) Now I officially have a three-ring circus.
Here's a picture of The Peanut, looking a bit like Buddha with his gentle little smile:
